Special Screening of ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ Held at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, IMA Dehradun
Film on PM Modi’s childhood and Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy inspires students with values of service and responsibility
Dehradun, September 20, 2025: A special screening of the film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’, based on human values and emotions, was organized on Saturday at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, IMA, Dehradun. The 30-minute film highlights the struggles of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his childhood and his lifelong commitment to public service. It also pays tribute to the teachings and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda.
Following the screening, school principal Shri Mamchand addressed the students, emphasizing that the true purpose of life is not just to live for oneself but to serve others and dedicate one’s efforts to society. He added that the film conveys an important message — even at a young age, sensitivity towards society can bring about significant change.
Students enthusiastically shared their reflections after the screening:
- Anvesha Topal remarked that “it is not the size of a person that matters, but the size of their ideas,” calling the film highly inspiring.
- Krishna Kaur Talwar said that fulfilling one’s responsibility towards society is true success.
- Soumya, another KV IMA student, shared that the documentary inspires youth to move forward with positivity.
- Gautamya highlighted that big dreams and ideas, even at a young age, can pave the way for serving society.
The special screening created a spirit of inspiration, social responsibility, and service among the students. The film is also being showcased for the general public at INOX Mall, PVR Centrio Mall, and PVR Pacific Mall in Dehradun until September 24.
