Revised Scores Announced After Key Amendments in Response to Legal Ruling

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the re-revised results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) [NEET (UG)] 2024. This development follows a directive from the Supreme Court of India, which necessitated revisions to the answer key of the exam.
The NEET UG 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, for over 24 lakh candidates across 571 cities in India and 14 cities internationally. The re-examination took place on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who faced time loss during the initial test. The exam was available in 13 languages, highlighting the inclusivity and wide reach of this crucial medical entrance test.
The revised results were released on July 26, 2024, after the Supreme Court’s intervention in response to discrepancies raised in the original key. This amendment is crucial for maintaining the integrity and fairness of the examination process. The updated scorecards are now available for download on the official NTA website.
The NEET UG results are pivotal not only for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses but also for undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy across India. Additionally, the results play a significant role in admissions to B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses and BVSc & AH courses under the Veterinary Council of India.
Candidates are advised to check their revised scores and rankings promptly, as these will be utilized by various central and state government entities in accordance with their eligibility criteria and guidelines.
The NTA remains committed to conducting transparent and fair examinations, ensuring all candidates receive their rightful place based on merit and performance.
